Common Questions
Cancellation Policy
At Soma Haus, we understand that sometimes things come up and plans change. We kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Where are you Located?
I'm located in the lower level of 5th Avenue Station: 200 E 5th Avenue Unit 134B, Naperville 60563. When you arrive to the 5th Ave Station there is plentiful parking in front of the building. Enter any door in the front of the building and stay on the main level, turn right and walk down the hall until you find a small staircase leading down to an atrium area with vending machines. Once you're downstairs, walk down the hallway and my door is on the left just past the elevator.
There is also a secure restroom in this hallway across the hall from me. Please check your appointment confirmation email or reach out to me for the door code.
Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to give yourself time to find the unit for the first time (you don't want to miss any of your relaxation time!). Don't worry, it's easy to find once you are familiar with the building.
Accepted Payment Methods
I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) payments. *Please note that a 3% credit card processing fee will be added to each transaction. If you have any questions about payment methods, please don't hesitate to contact me.
What to Expect During Your Session
This is a professional and therapeutic massage. You may request deeper or lighter pressure, and you may inform me of any areas of your body you'd like me to focus on or avoid. You may undress to your level of comfort (for example, if you're more comfortable leaving underwear/shorts on, you certainly may), your body will always be appropriately draped, and only the body part that is being worked on will be exposed. This is meant to be a relaxing and therapeutic experience, so please enjoy this time for yourself--silence your phone and unplug from distractions. You're always welcome to talk if you like, but please know that you may also be silent, or even fall asleep.
Do You Take Insurance?
Some health insurance companies cover massage therapy services partially or in full; this requires a qualifying diagnosis and a doctor's prescription. Independent Massage Therapists can accept insurance in some situations. At this time I am not set up to accept insurance, however HSA and FSA are accepted. Please check with your HSA/FSA to ensure massage services are covered so you don't incur unexpected fees.
